From now until 31 Dec 2022, registered UOB PRVI Miles cardmembers will be able to earn 5 mpd for selected overseas spending. This promotion is available for all three versions of the card – Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
In order to register for this promotion, simply SMS the following to 77862:
PMX<space>last 4 alphanumeric characters of your NRIC (e.g. PMX 567A)
Note that there is no cap on the number of cardmembers who can register for this promotion.
You’ll usually earn 2.4 mpd for overseas spend, but during this promotion, you’ll then earn an additional 2.6 mpd, bringing your total earn rate to 5 mpd. There is a cap to the number of bonus miles you can earn from this promotion, which has been set at 10,400 miles. This translates to a spending cap of S$4,000. You must also spend a minimum of S$1,000 in eligible purchases to qualify for the bonus miles.
For this promotion, only the following in-person overseas spending will qualify:
- Overseas Dining
- Overseas Shopping
Online transactions do not count at all. Also, when making such payments overseas it is imperative that you ensure that your card is charged in the foreign currency and not in Singapore dollars.
Cardmembers will receive the usual 2.4 mpd normally, while the bonus 2.6 mpd will be posted to your UOB account by 28 Feb 2023.
For cardmembers with more than one version of the PRVI Miles card, note that you can only enjoy this promotion capped at one card. In other words, having three versions of the card doesn’t triple the bonus miles cap for you. To play it safe, just pick one of your UOB PRVI Miles cards for this promotion.
