Amex cardmembers have been at the receiving end of various offers recently. One example was the S$500 statement credit enjoyed by Amex Platinum Charge cardmembers, which was a welcome surprise.
Now, Amex cardmembers can enjoy even more statement credit for qualifying spends at selected hotel properties islandwide. Given that travel isn’t possible for many, the statement credits will come in useful for those looking at having more staycations in the near future.
The concept is simple – register for these offers via the Amex app, spend at any of these participating establishments, and then receive the credits!
There are a total of four programmes that are participating in this latest promotion: Hilton, Marriott Bonvoy, Millennium Hotels and Resorts, and World of Hyatt.
The actual rebate varies from programme to programme, with the best being Hilton with up to a 30% rebate, followed by Marriott Bonvoy and World of Hyatt with up to a 25% rebate, and finally Millennium Hotels and Resorts with up to a 20% rebate.
You’ll receive statement credits for qualifying spend at any of the properties and/or restaurants and bars listed below.
Note that you need not spend the minimum amount in one go to receive the statement credit. For example, at participating Marriott Bonvoy establishments, you can spend S$100 during one visit, followed by S$150 during a second visit, and finally another S$150 during your third visit, and then receive the S$100 statement credit after a cumulative spend of S$400. For all participating programmes except Hilton, you can only receive the statement credit once per saved offer per card. For Hilton, you may receive the statement credit up to 3 times, capped at 1 per participating property.
In order to receive the statement credits, be sure to clock all qualifying spending by 8 Nov 2020. Even if you don’t have an immediate intention to spend at any of these participating chains, just save the offer on your card first, as there are caps to the number of registered cards for these promotions (except for Hilton which allows for unlimited cards to be registered).
