Amex launches Pay Small: Fly now and pay later with Singapore Airlines

At times, air fares may constitute a considerable portion of your travel budget. In such cases, wouldn’t it be nice if you could fly first but pay later for your air fare?

American Express has launched Pay Small, which is essentially a payment method when you purchase tickets with Singapore Airlines. You can proceed to secure your tickets and pay them off over a 6-month zero-interest plan when you use your eligible Amex card, which is essentially all Singapore-issued Amex cards, excluding Amex Corporate Cards and Amex cards issued by DBS and UOB. This facility is also only eligible for flights originating in Singapore and billed in SGD, with a transaction amount of S$250 or more.

You’ll also earn miles when you use Pay Small. American Express Singapore Airlines credit card members will earn 0.5 mpd, while American Express Singapore Airlines Business card members will earn 2.5 HighFlyer points per S$1. You won’t be able to earn any miles on other Amex cards.
