With effect from 28 Oct 2019, Singapore Airlines will take over the current route between Singapore and Busan from SilkAir.
This represents a 76% increase in capacity in order to meet a growing demand on the route.
Singapore Airlines will be operating the A330-300 aircraft on this route, which features 30 incline lie-flat seats in Business Class in a 2-2-2 configuration, and 255 seats in Economy Class in a 2-4-2 configuration. This is up from the current 162-seat B737-800 aircraft currently used on the route by SilkAir.
Those already booked on their flights to Busan on SilkAir will be re-accommodated onto the Singapore Airlines flights accordingly. The new flight schedule is as follows:
