Located just opposite Disneyland Anaheim, the Hilton Anaheim is the perfect place to stay for guests visiting Anaheim in California. It is not only conveniently located right next to Disneyland, California’s major attraction, it is also close to Interstate I-5, allowing excellent access by car to all areas to the north and south of the area.
The area is always bustling with activity all year round. The hotel is fairly huge, and has an impressive facade.
While the drive from LAX wasn’t hectic, I was in much need of a shower and some rest. My reservation on file was quickly pulled up at the check-in desk, and the staff expressed their gratitude for my continued support as a Hilton Honors Gold member. With my key cards, I headed straight for my room.
The rooms at the Hilton Anaheim are really designed not only for couples, but for families as well. With a room big enough for a family of four, I couldn’t complain much about anything. The room had two double beds, and still had much room to spare.
At the front of the room, I found the work desk very useful to stow all my personal effects. There was also complimentary water and hot beverages. Entertainment wise, the television had access to a full suite of cable TV channels, so I was spoilt for choice whenever I was channel surfing. The sofa in the room served as a convenient place to stash my bags and all my shopping.
There was nothing impressive about the toilet. It was simple with a 2-in-1 shower and tub, and housekeeping did an incredible job keeping it spick and span during my entire stay.
For those gym enthusiasts, you’d be pleased to know that the hotel has an incredible fitness facility on site. The Health Club located in the lower lobby, is one of the largest hotel gyms I’ve ever been to.
Just look at the range of equipment that’s available, from cardio machines to free weights.
There’s also a huge indoor pool for guests to use. The only thing you won’t get in here is the fabulous Californian tan.
The Hilton Anaheim is definitely my go-to place to stay whenever I visit Anaheim. The Hilton brand has done well in maintaining its image, and for welcoming its Hilton Honors guests with their world renowned Hilton hospitality.
