According to Globes, Singapore Airlines is considering flights to operate between Singapore and Tel Aviv. It seems that Singapore Airlines is currently sourcing for accommodation for its crew to stay one night, which is typical for flights of this duration.
With recent launches by Cathay Pacific, Hainan Airlines and Air India to Tel Aviv, and reporting profits on the route, Singapore Airlines might soon follow suit.
While the A350-900 seems like a plausible aircraft to ply the route, it still remains to be seen which aircraft and at what frequency Singapore Airlines will opt for this new and exciting destination to its network.
