From now until 30 Sep 2018, you can earn 4 mpd when you settle your income tax with Maybank FlexiPay on a 12-month instalment plan.
The maximum number of miles that you can earn from this promotion is 40000, meaning that you would’ve reached the promotion cap if your income tax is S$10000 or more. The approved amount is also subject to a one-time 4% processing fee. Assuming you’ve maxed out the promotion, that equates to a ‘cost’ of only 1 cent per mile, which is great value.
This promotion is only open to principal cardmembers of the Maybank Visa Infinite or Maybank World Mastercard, and who have received a direct mailer from Maybank. An administrative fee of S$100 will be charged if you decide to terminate the facility early.
Note that you can also earn miles from income tax payments if you have the Standard Chartered Visa Infinite card, the HSBC Visa Infinite card, or the OCBC Voyage card. You can read more about that here.
