Garuda had a previous 90% sale, which was the best ever. However, while this current promotion pales in comparison to the previous one, it still represents excellent value for long-haul redemptions. For example, a usual First Class award will cost you 190000 miles per way between Jakarta and Europe. With the 50% discount, it will cost you only 95000, which is far more reasonable.
