One of the reasons why I love the American Express Platinum Card is that I can enjoy access to the Amex Centurion Lounge. As of now, you’ll find these lounges at Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, New York LaGuardia, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle.
It was previously announced that New York JFK and Denver would both be having Centurion Lounges as well.
The latest airport to receive the Centurion Lounge is Los Angeles (LAX). Great news for those travelling on Singapore Airlines, as the lounge will be located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, where the airline operates out of. The lounge will also be huge, with a floor area of 13900 square feet. As per One Mile At A Time:
In addition, guests will be able to enjoy spa services at the Centurion Lounge in LAX, great for those in transit, or for anyone who wishes to loosen up a little before a flight.
I will be travelling through LAX next year, but as of now, no further details are available other than the fact that the lounge is expected to open sometime in 2019. Keeping my fingers crossed!
