Located only a short walking distance from Admiralty MTR station on Hong Kong Island, the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong is perfect for those who wish to access the promenade and ferry terminal, as well as the International Financial Center and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
The hotel can get packed during the weekends due to weddings and other events.
Stepping inside, guests are welcomed by the spacious lobby with floor to ceiling glass panels allowing lots of natural light in during the day.
After a swift check in, I headed up to my room, which I found to be a little small. However, the clever use of mirrors created the illusion of space, which made the room feel larger.
Being a corner room, it also helped that the large windows provided a great view of the surroundings, well in this case buildings, which gave the room an even more open feel.
The bathroom was decent, with both a bathtub and a shower.
For those who love to visit the gym, you would like to know that it is very well equipped, but avoid the peak periods if possible if you don’t want to have to wait for your turn for the machines.
The hotel also has a large outdoor pool and jacuzzi, perfect to wind down on a hot and sunny afternoon.
The JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong will definitely be on my list of favourites on my next visit to the bustling city in the future.
