The OCBC Titanium Rewards card has got to be one of the best mile-generating cards in the market right now, mostly due to its versatility. As it is, the OCBC Titanium Rewards card earns you 4 mpd for the following categories:
Also, there is an ongoing promotion that allows you to earn 4 mpd whenever you use your OCBC Titanium Rewards card to make payments via your mobile wallet, which includes Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Android Pay.
In particular, to fully maximise this promotion, you should consider Samsung Pay, which uses both Near Field Communication (NFC) and Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST). The former usually has a cap of S$100 per transaction, while the latter doesn’t. You can referĀ here for more information on the use of Samsung Pay.
Taking all types of spending categories and transactions that give you 4 mpd into account, you can only earn a maximum of 48000 miles per card anniversary year on the OCBC Titanium Rewards card. But what’s more incredible with the OCBC Titanium Rewards card is that it comes in two versions: Blue and Pink. Believe it or not, you can actually apply for BOTH Blue and Pink versions of the card, and as long as you’re the principal cardholder, you will DOUBLE the cap to 96000 miles from 4 mpd-eligible transactions!
What remains to be seen is whether OCBC will further extend the mobile payment promotion once again, as it was already extended once to the end of 2018.
