Overlooking the Elafiti Islands, the Coast of Gruz and Bay of Lapad, Hotel Adria Dubrovnik offers spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea. It is also only 2.5km from the Old City and just a 20-minute drive from the airport.
The hotel offers airport transfers as well, but if you drive, you would like to know that parking is free at this property.
Hotel Adria has a modern touch to it, with a clean and minimalist design.
The lobby and bar are pretty much interconnected. It was pretty quiet at the time of check-in, but things can get a little busy during the evenings.
Hotel Adria boasts contemporary rooms with a simple and uncluttered layout, consistent with the rest of the property. The bed was a little stiff for my liking, but otherwise everything else was fine.
All the rooms in Hotel Adria are air conditioned, which makes good sense for the summer crowd.
The bathroom was a little small, with a standalone shower. Everything was wrapped in plastic and even the toilet bowl had a ‘seal’ indicating that it had been properly disinfected.
The breakfast spread was surprisingly good, with a wide selection of hot food, pastries, cereal and yoghurt, as well as hot and cold beverages.
In summer, you can also take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool. Alternatively, the Adria Spa offers a wide selection of spa services, and even an indoor jacuzzi and pool too.
If you’re visiting Dubrovnik, and are not too particular about staying right in the city centre, Hotel Adria does offer quite a decent stay for the price.
