New Centurion Lounge for JFK in 2019

American Express will be opening its largest Centurion Lounge at New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport Terminal 4 in early 2019. It will be over 15000 square feet, and spanning across two floors.

We have seen the list of Centurion Lounges grow recently, with the opening of lounges in Hong Kong and Philadelphia in Oct 2017.

There are currently Centurion Lounges located in Dallas, Hong Kong, Houston, Las Vegas, New York La Guardia, Philadelphia, Miami, Seattle, and San Francisco.

As mentioned in a previous post, American Express has tightened its lounge access policy to prevent overcrowding. The lounge is only accessible to those holding the American Express Centurion and Platinum Cards. Centurion members may enter with up to 2 guests or immediate family, while Platinum members may enter with up to 2 guests, all without any additional cost. Day passes may be purchased on site for US$50 for additional guests.

I am planning a trip to the US in 2019 so hopefully the Centurion Lounge at JFK will be up and running by then. It’s great to hear that it will be located in Terminal 4 where most international flights, including Singapore Airlines, arrive and depart out of New York.
