The Radisson Blu Krakow is located right in the city centre, just 14km from John Paul II International Airport Krakow-Balice. For those arriving by train, the hotel is located only 3km from Krakow Train Station. It is also situated within talking distance from the Teatr Bagatela, Wawel Castle and Florian’s Gate.
Upon arriving at the hotel, I noted the modern exterior that was aesthetically pleasing.
Having walked through the revolving door entrance, I was impressed by the spacious lobby with ample seating and check-in desks. I didn’t have to wait long to check-in, and I was soon in my room.
The room was of a decent size, with lots of natural lighting. The soft hues of brown and red complemented the furnishings.
There was a sitting area just next to the beds, and a dressing table with a little coffee machine.
The bathroom was also fairly spacious, with a 2-in-1 bathtub and shower. It was clear that the mirror with backlights was the latest update to the bathroom.
The corridor leading from the door to the room was lined with a wardrobe, with an ironing board, safe, bathrobes, and extra pillows and duvets.
Hotel guests will also have access to a fairly well equipped fitness centre and a sauna.
I was fortunate that I didn’t have to jostle with crowds during breakfasts at the hotel. The spread was of the usual Western breakfast offerings and pastries, with a nice selection of hot and cold beverages.
Krakow is a lovely city, and my stay at the Radisson Blu made it even better. I had absolutely no issues with my stay, and will definitely prioritise this property as a choice on my next visit to Krakow.
