Passsengers on Singapore Airlines and SilkAir can now access Scoot flights to over 30 destinations through a new codeshare agreement. Destinations include Athens, Gold Coast, Sapporo and Tianjin.

Under this agreement, Singapore Airlines and SilkAir will progressively add the ‘SQ’ and ‘MI’ designator codes to Scoot operated flights. This also means that passengers can have their bags checked all the way to their final destination at the first point of check-in.

In addition, Singapore Airlines and SilkAir customers will enjoy Scoot’s FlyBagEat privileges, which includes checked baggage allowance, complimentary meal, and blankets for flights in excess of four hours.

Subject to regulatory approval, tickets will be progressively rolled out across all ticketing channels.
