New Products on Singapore Airlines revealed

Singapore Airlines has finally revealed brand new cabin products for Suites, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy Classes today (2 Nov 2017). These new products will be fitted on the 5 brand new A380s joining the Singapore Airlines fleet, and will commence with flights between Singapore and Sydney from 18 Dec 2017.

Singapore Airlines Suites

As with all the speculation leading up to today, it seems that the unconfirmed photos that were circulated over the past couple of days are indeed true. The new Singapore Airlines Suites will be housed at the front of the upper deck, with only a total of 6 Suites, arranged in a 1-1 configuration.

The first two Suites on either side of the aisle can be converted into a double bed. Each Suites passenger will have a plush leather chair that can swivel, as well as a fully flat bed, and a 32-inch flat screen television.

The lavatories for Suites passengers are a major upgrade from the existing ones.

Business Class

The new Business Class will also be located on the upper deck, arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration, providing direct aisle access for all passengers.

The middle two Business Class seats can be converted into a pseudo double-bed, which is a significant upgrade from its predecessor.

All seats also have improved stowage solutions thoughtfully designed to provide passengers with easy reach to their belongings.

Premium Economy and Economy Class

The new Premium Economy Class will be located at the front of the main deck, arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration. The seats seem pretty similar to the existing Premium Economy Class, but with minor enhancements.

The new Economy Class will be located on the main deck, behind Premium Economy, arranged in a 3-4-3 configuration. The seat has been upgraded, and inflight entertainment interface enhanced to allow for a more intuitive experience.

In summary, Singapore Airlines has yet again redefined travel for all of us. The latest product offerings have indeed set a new benchmark for the aviation industry.
