This boutique hotel located right by the Danube River in Budapest boasts a elegant yet contemporary feel. The lobby was modern in design, and with colour combinations that were just simply pleasing to the eye.
The elevator shaft was clad in glass and had a minimalist touch. Lift landings were also furnished with coffee tables and colourful and interesting chairs.
More importantly, the room was of a decent size, with adequate furnishing just so that there was no clutter at all, with a king-sized bed and a wall mounted flat screen television.
I simply loved the bathroom. The tiles and lighting complemented each other just every so nicely, and while it was physically small, the layout gave an illusion of extra space.
Don’t expect much for breakfast, but if you’re heading out to stuff yourself with more local fare, it’s more than sufficient to kick start your day.
This hotel in central Budapest offers stunning views of Pest and the Buda Castle, which are both UNESCO World Heritage sites, a must visit if you’re into design hotels and prefer to be in the hustle and bustle of activity in the city.
