Venice is probably one of the most romantic cities I’ve ever been to. The endless canals, arches and bridges will want to make you fall in love with Venice right away. This is why Venice is one of the top tourist destinations in the world.
I decided to check into the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice during this trip to Venice. While I must say that this property wasn’t one of the more convenient ones to pick in Venice, given that you need to take a boat shuttle from the hotel to most attractions in the city, I certainly appreciated the added exclusivity and privacy afforded by the property’s location.
Hilton HHonors members have a priority check-in counter as usual. The hotel was absolutely spacious, with a huge lobby and countless hallways. Prominently displayed are works of art, although I can’t be sure if they’re of any value.
The room was pretty much standard. A king-sized bed was more than sufficient for me. The room also offered a standard flat screen TV with cable options.
The bathroom was also spacious, with separate shower and bathtub facilities.
I would recommend this hotel if you’re willing to sacrifice a little convenience for a whole lot of privacy given the property’s location. Given that the hotel shuttle operates till late, you shouldn’t have any issues getting to and from the hotel at any time of the day.
