Vistara is a Delhi-based airline brought together as a joint venture by Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines. It has since revealed the latest cabin products to be featured onboard their latest B787-9 aircraft.
The new B787-9 aircraft delivered to Vistara will feature a Business Class cabin, a Premium Economy Class cabin, and an Economy Class cabin. In Business Class, expect seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, offering all passengers with aisle access. As you can tell, the seats closely resemble Singapore Airlines’ regional Business Class product.
Each seat can convert to a fully flat bed, which is an important factor to consider should the airline begin introducing longer routes in the future.
Dine in comfort and enjoy IFE content on your personal screen.
In Premium Economy, expect seats to be in a 2-3-2 configuration, with 37″ of pitch and an adjustable leg rest.
Seats in Economy Class are arranged in a 3-3-3 configuration, which is typical for this cabin class.
Overall, this represents a major upgrade of any airline operating out of India. Hopefully Vistara will plan for some routes out of India when the airline announces its international long haul ambitions in the future.
