Due to an overwhelming response when it was launched a few months ago, the Standard Chartered X Card has returned.
But unlike during the initial launch when the card came in metal and a beautiful lit box, new applicants during this relaunch will be receiving a plastic version of the card, but will have the opportunity to upgrade to a metal one the moment fresh stocks arrive.
Thankfully, the relaunch also comes with the same, albeit watered down version of the sign up bonus during the initial launch. That is, receive 60000 miles when you spend S$6000 within the first 60 days from card approval. Of course, this pales in comparison to the original 100000 sign up bonus at the very first launch of the card, which many of us have taken advantage of.
The website also lists all the eligible transactions that count towards this sign up bonus.
If you had intended to go ahead with the card initially, and still have eligible spending in mind that would meet the minimum spend requirement, you should still go ahead with the card application, as such sign up bonuses are indeed hard to come by.
