There was much excitement when Standard Chartered announced the new X Card, with a 100000 miles bonus with a minimum spend of S$6000 within the first 60 days from card activation.
However, due to an overwhelming response to the card, Standard Chartered has downsized the sign up bonus to only 60000 miles. This only applies to those who apply for the card after 31 Jul 2019 and have their applications approved by 30 Sep 2019. For those who managed to apply for the card on or before 31 Jul 2019, you’ll still get to enjoy the 100000 bonus miles as long as your card is approved by 31 Aug 2019. In both cases, you must still meet the minimum spend of S$6000 within 60 days of card activation.
For those who have not managed to apply for the card, this is still an incredible opportunity to haul in more miles if you have some big ticket purchases lined up.
