From now until 31 Dec 2018 30 Jun 2019, be sure to head to Platinum Vibes located at Marina at Keppel Bay on level 2. This is a members-only space for American Express Centurion and Platinum Members to relax and recharge with friends and family.
I visited the lounge within the first couple of months of its opening, and was very impressed. I spoke to the staff and apparently they managed to spruce up the entire lounge in only under two weeks!
There are two main sections at Platinum Vibes. In the main lounge area, you’ll see a very well stocked bar upon entering the premises. I’m sure that you’ll be spoilt for choice when ordering your drink, or two perhaps.
Walk further in and the lounge opens into a huge seating area, with comfortable chairs, sofas and throws to keep yourself warm and comfortable.
Enjoy splendid views of the harbour over some afternoon tea, or maybe even over a game of chess.
Based on the layout of the lounge, the seating arrangement can accommodate various party sizes, from couples to small group gatherings.
Head across to the other section which houses the dining area, and you’ll find proper tables for your meal.
Each cardmember will also enjoy a complimentary welcome drink, and for my visit, an appetizer too.
The menu is pretty extensive and I tried a few dishes, all of which were very much to my liking. Bear in mind that the portions can be a little small, so do order more to play safe.
The kitchen is an open concept one, so you get to watch the chefs prepare your meal while you wait and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Platinum Vibes will remain at this location until 31 Dec 2018 30 Jun 2019, after which Amex will probably select another yet to be announced location for the lounge at a later time.
