Previously, UOB offered PRVI Miles cardholders a payment facility that allowed for miles to be earned for miscellaneous payments that would otherwise not earn any miles, and this was valid until 31 Dec 2017.
Essentially, applicants for the payment facility will earn 1 mile for every dollar requested, subject to a 2% admin fee. Given that there was no requirement to stipulate the payee, you could potentially purchase miles at 2 cents each.
Now, UOB has removed the clause that previously stated the time limited nature of this payment facility, and UOB PRVI Miles cardholders can continue to enjoy this facility until further notice. Simply download the form here, and mail it to have it processed, and your miles will appear on your UOB statement.
