First Class on Singapore Airlines B777-300ER from Singapore (SIN) to Milan (MXP)

When Singapore Airlines first introduced these seats in 2006, they were unbeatable. The First Class cabin was subsequently refreshed in 2013, and Singapore Airlines continues to set the bar even higher for the competition.

This was a flight from Singapore to Milan, and I was seated in Seat 1C. On board the B777-300ER, Singapore Airlines configures its First Class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, in either two rows or a single one. This particular aircraft had two rows of seats, and the cabin was about half full.

Most Singapore Airlines flights to Europe depart out of Singapore at night, so I was hoping to get some rest on this 12 hour flight to Milan.

First Class seats on board Singapore Airlines feature a seat measuring 35 inches cross, a 23 inch wide screen for inflight entertainment, and a dining table that can be adjusted to any height. With no overhead compartments, the First Class cabin has a more spacious feel, and the space under your ottoman will fit your carry on bags nicely.

The menus are clad in leather, giving it a more exquisite feel.

Meal service commenced shortly after take-off, which was flawless as usual.

When it was time for bed, the cabin crew offered the turn-down service, converting my seat into a lie-flat bed. The end result? A spacious and comfortable bed for me to catch up on some sleep.

After some sleep and catching a few movies, it was time for breakfast. The beauty of the tray table is that since it can be adjusted to any height, you can have breakfast in bed, literally.

I had just enough time to catch Angels and Demons just prior to landing.

Overall, another fantastic flight with Singapore Airlines.
